Having kept COVID-19 rates very low, Cuba will be gradually re-opening for tourists from July onwards

Due to the very low number of daily COVID-19 cases now being reported in Cuba, from July 1st 2020 Cuban airspace will re-open, paving the way for the gradual return of tourism into the island,
starting with the offshore beach resorts (known as Cayos). Initially, the main tourist flights into Cuba will only be arriving from North America, though it is expected that flights between Cuba and Europe could be operational shortly afterwards. Announcements with more specific dates should be happening soon.

Havana is getting a new zip-line experience!

A brand new canopy zip-line experience is scheduled to open to visitors in March 2020 at the National Botanical Garden ("Jardín Botánico Nacional"), located in the suburbs of Havana. There will be
nearly 1,500 metres of lines, allowing visitors to zip across the botanical garden whilst enjoying stunning views of the diverse range of plant species.

Cuba Direct (the UK's leading independent tour operator for Cuba) and Cubana Airlines (Cuba’s national carrier) had a very fruitful meeting at FITUR in Madrid today about initiating direct flights
to Havana and Holguin from London Gatwick. The flights are expected to be twice a week and using modern wide-body Airbus planes.
